About Deborah Fox


As the superintendent of Livingston Manor Central School District, Dr. Deborah Fox brings more than three decades of experience in education to the role. In the position for six years, Dr. Fox has improved the district’s accountability status, implemented comprehensive educational planning programs, gained community support for two capital renovation projects, and settled budgetary and contract issues.

Communications with the community have been enhanced under Dr. Fox’s leadership by hosting community meetings, attending and helping plan local events, and utilizing the district website, newsletters, media coverage, and the parental notification system. Moreover, Dr. Deborah Fox partners with other local schools to promote programs, enhance student involvement, and enhance fiscal efficiency.

Prior to her role with Livingston Manor Central School District, Dr. Fox served as assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at Onteora Central School District. This role earned her the National School Public Relations Association’s first-place award for the district’s school calendar as part of the overall community relations program.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Deborah Fox holds several academic credentials. The recipient of a bachelor of professional studies in business, management, and economics from Empire State College, she later enrolled at the College of St. Rose, where she acquired a master of science and a certificate of advanced study in educational administration and supervision. Additionally, in 2012, she completed the doctoral program in educational leadership at Sage Graduate School.
